IT in Education Pedagogical Series: Coding Galaxy demonstrated at a HKEDB Professional Development Programme course

[Hong Kong] The IT in Education Pedagogical Series: Using Coding Platform to Facilitate Collaborative Learning and Enhance Creativity and Problem-solving Skills focused on using Coding Galaxy as a developmental tool on 29 May. The event, an official Hong Kong Education Bureau sanctioned Professional Development Programme, included teachers sharing their experience with Coding Galaxy as a tool to develop students’ computational thinking and coding concepts. Teachers also got hands on experience of the gamified learning approach and self-paced learning as they tried to complete the Coding Galaxy Single Mode missions. Finally, they were paired up with their peers to fully appreciate how Coding Galaxy develops Computational Thinking, coding concepts and communication and collaboration skills as they competed in Collaboration Mode.
