[Hong Kong] As a partner of MTR, we’re excited to have contributed to the recently launched major upgrade of the MTR · Care App this December! Designed to better support the elderly and individuals with special needs, the app has evolved to provide even more inclusive travel experiences.
Innovative Features in the Upgrade:
✅ Wheelchair Portable Ramp Booking: Seamless pre-journey ramp reservations for wheelchair users, now available across all stations since December 2, 2024.
✅ In-station Assistance for Hearing-impaired Users: Trial functionality for non-emergency communication with station staff, currently live at Quarry Bay and Shek Kip Mei stations.
✅ Enhanced In-station Navigation: Voice-guided navigation for visually impaired passengers, now expanded to the Island Line.
