[China] In response to the Fujian Provincial Government’s goal of building a “Fresh and Smart City”, the introduction of Augmented Reality (AR) navigation at the Fuzhou Changle International Airport will bring all passengers a smarter airport experience.
To provide passengers with the smarter airport experience, they will be introduced with AR navigation powered by Cherrypicks’ Starbeacon™ starting from 18 Jun. Through AR, the airport will be able to offer its passengers personalized O2O services to optimize customer experience and build an enhanced brand image.
By installing 1,500 Starbeacon™ base stations, the AR navigation app will provide users with real-time information, airport amenity search and turn-by-turn wayfinding with 3 different AR mascots, leading them across the entire airport. Passengers will also be able to take photos with AR effects, and to receive location-based push messages.
