[Hong Kong] Jason Chiu, Cherrypicks’ CEO, called upon to serve as a Judge for the Finals of CoolThink@JC Competition 2021 on 28 Aug. This year, the 5th annual Competition saw the highest participation number in history with over 200 teams across different primary schools entering the competition. The students showcased their digital creativity by incorporating artificial intelligence, computational thinking, programming prowess, problem-solving skills, and teamwork into their designs.
The competition created and funded by The Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, and co-created by The Education University of Hong Kong, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and City University of Hong Kong, and co-organized by Association of I.T. Leaders in Education and The Hong Kong Association for Computer Education, and supported by Education Bureau and Hong Kong Education City promotes Computational Thinking Education through coding and problem solving skills, innovation and coding techniques as well as encouraging collaboration.
